Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Most recently, she played Carlota (the principal role in the show) in the series Netflix's Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the United States of America. She is an actress as well as a comedian, performer and singer. Her most well-known work was being a part of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. She has since starred in shows like ABC's Suburgatory The TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. The actress began her career as a Northwestern University voice student, then shifted to acting after she joined the campus's improv group. This spirit was carried through into her roles in supporting roles, such as the overly controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory, and the eccentric Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite.
